Important Info For Vendors – Updated
Updated signs and hunt objects have been sent out! As SL has been acting wacky lately with restarts it is possible that you did not receive the package. Please let me know ASAP if you did not receive the updated kit and I will get one out to you!
Final Walk Through Warning!
The start of the hunt is coming up on 11/1! This is a reminder that the final walk though will be 10/30.
Please have the updated sign out and your hunt item set next to it. It does not have to be set for sale or filled, this is just so I can be sure you received them. If you do not have these items out when I do my walk through, I will IM you once. If I do not get a response or the item is not out by 10/31 you will be dropped from the hunt. To make the walk through easier, you can also send me message letting me know you have everything set to go. I can then skip your store with your confirmation.
Hints are recommended. You should have received an updated sign with built in hint giver. I am also posting hints on the blog. If you have sent me a hint and do not see it on the blog, SL probably ate it, so please send again! ***If you have not received hunt items or the updated signs, please let me know ASAP and I will resend!
Items are expected to be filled, hidden, and set to sale no later than midnight on 10/31 to ensure a smooth start.
After the hunt starts, if you would like to send me a picture of your item to post on the blog to give a peek at your offering, please do so. The picture must be full perm. This is your choice, not mandatory.
Some of you have questioned about unisex gifts or gifts for both sexes. I know some of you only have stores geared towards one gender and it may be difficult to provide for both, so it is to your discretion. If you choose to offer a gift for both sexes you can either add both to one hunt item or have two hunt items out (one for each gender). If you choose to put out two hunt items, make sure you rename it for whatever gender it is meant for (i.e. D4D Hunt #1 Chic Couture Male Gift, please do not change the hunt # and store name). This way people know which one they are getting. Please keep both items in the same hiding spot and no more than two items out at once (no decoys either).
Some store LM’s have changed. The stores that will need to replace LM’s in their items will be notified before the hunt starts.

Dollar for Dollar Hunt Info
***This is not a freebie hunt! All items will be $1L!***
When: November 1st – December 1st.
Application Deadline: October 15th
Number of Stores: 125 (there will be 10 back up slots for drop outs and no shows)
Group: Dollar for Dollar Vendors – This is a Hippo Group, you will automatically be added upon acceptance into the hunt and removed at the end of the hunt.
Hunters group – Dollar for Dollar Hunts (copy and paste secondlife:///app/group/ffb351bb-dfc2-a9eb-a958-c9c3d3e15d1c/about into chat and click the link or search for the group to join).

The hunt theme is open! That means you can make whatever you desire to give out for $1L. However, no freebie resellers will be accepted.
Upon acceptance into the hunt you will be provided a hunt sign to display in your store. This must be displayed upon receipt.
The hunt order is completely random. After applications close, boxes with store names will be put into a random object giver. Whatever box I pull out first goes on the list as store #2 (after my store) and so on.
Hunt items will be given out between October 16th and October 20th.
There will only be 2 walk throughs. The first walk through will be October 23rd. You must have at least the hunt sign rezzed. Anyone that does not have at least the sign rezzed by October 23rd is at danger of being dropped from the hunt. The second and final walk through will be October 30th. You must have the hunt sign and item out (item does not need to be filled) by this date. Anyone without these items out by October 30th will be dropped and a back up will be put in their place.
If you move anytime between the time you are accepted into the hunt and the end of the hunt, please notify me ASAP so the blog and the store before you can be updated with the new landmark.
Hunt items are to be hidden, but please not inside items. If you make it hard to find your item, people will give up and skip your store. They will also most likely have a bad impression of your store and pass it along to others.
Paths for larger stores will be provided. Hint givers will also be provided. Hints are entirely optional.
If you have an adult store or your store is on an adult sim, you must let me know. That way I can label your store as adult or on an adult sim so people can skip if needed or desired.
Hunters will also be given the option to join an in world group if they prefer.
